Welcome to the Ukrainian Arts Foundation of Greater Rochester. The UAFGR is a not-for-profit organization based in Rochester, NY, founded in 2007 to help revive the love for Ukrainian arts and culture in the Rochester community.

The UAFGR began its journey with Ukrainian folk dancing, creating dance groups for every age group. These groups included Mamai, Svitanok, Dunay, and Veselka. Soon after, the UAFGR began hosting cultural events at the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester, the place we call home. The UCC and the UAFGR work hand in hand to help assure the preservation of Ukrainian culture.

The UAFGR’s goal is to builder a stronger Ukrainian community by educating and serving Ukrainian-Americans. We always welcome new members, as well as organizations, with similar goals.
