Thank you to all the families that have shown such overwhelming support by registering for Kalyna in unprecedented numbers. Ukrainian dance and culture are truly strong.
Hello Returning Dancers and Parents!
We are excited for the start of our new year. We will give first priority to our returning dancers, but as we are reaching maximum capacity for our classrooms, we will need to create a wait list for some new families and those that do not complete registration promptly. Please consider you and your children’s level of commitment throughout the year. As we would like to accommodate those children and families that want to participate to the fullest in our goal of continuing a strong and continuous line of dancers and supporters of our Ukrainian traditions. If you are approached with prospective new students, please help us by informing them that we will happily take their contact information and let them know as soon as we can, whether they can be accommodated. Contact any member of our administration with questions at any time.

2023-2024 General Information
PRACTICES
Practice will be held at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, 1040 Jackson Road, Webster, New York. Dancers, depending on group and instructor requirements, will need to wear black dance shoes, black ballet slippers or character shoes. Full dress code details will be provided during registration.
Group 1
Pre-K and Kindergarten (Ages 4-6, Must turn 4 by 12/1/2023)
Mondays: 6:15 – 7:00pm
First Practice September 18
Group 2
Grades 1-3 (Ages 6-9)
Mondays: 6:00 – 7:00pm
First Practice September 18
Group 3
Grades 4-7 (Ages 9-13)
Mondays: 7:00 – 8:30pm
First Practice September 18
Group 4
Grades 8-12+ (Ages 13 and Up)
Sundays: 4:00 – 7:00pm
First Practice September 17
Apprenticeships will be offered to appropriately skilled 7th graders in good standing in Group 3.
